Shown above is the window treatment that was awarded first place in the Specialty Windows category at the 1998 International Window Coverings Expo in Baltimore. Tami Green, one of the Window Fashion Designers at The Blind Alley, designed this award winning treatment featuring swags and cascades with Hunter Douglas Silhouette Window Shadings.

These arched windows in the Kaslo 2005 Street of Dreams Home were covered by 2" wood blinds from Mark Window Products. The curved valances were custom made from a template of the windows that we supplied.

This angle-top window is covered by 2" Country Woods blinds from Hunter Douglas. The top section is stationary, while the lower rectangular section raises & lowers and tilts normally.

Shown above is another angle-top window using Brilliance Pleated Shades from Hunter Douglas. The top section will lift up on the left to the top angled headrail, while the lower rectangular section raises & lowers normally.

Here a custom-fit doweled Roman shade has been selected to cover this window with an eyebrow arch-top.

This window with an eyebrow arch has been covered by plantation shutters with a stationary arch section and movable louvers below.

This circle window has been covered by Hunter Douglas Brilliance Pleated Shades.

Here are Wood Shutters on rectangular and angle-top windows.

Another practical treatment for angle-top windows are vertical blinds, such as those shown above. They will rotate open and closed as well as draw up to the highpoint, stacking in the center of the opening.

Hunter Douglas Brilliance Pleated Shades are available for standard windows as well as skylight windows.

A starburst sheer with center rose can cover those odd-shaped arch windows with elegance.

Levolor 1" Classic Riviera Blinds can be used on angle-top windows and skylights and will rotate open and closed for privacy and light control.

Vertical blinds, such as these are a practical treatment for angle-top windows. They will rotate open and closed as well as draw up to the highpoint, stacking in the center of the opening.

Here is an operable 2" wood blind from that rotates open and closed and will lift up to the top of the rectangular portion of the window. If the width is not too wide, this can be made as a single unit, rather than 2 separate blinds.

A more elegant treatment for those arch-top windows that you want to feature rather than hide by the window treatments. Shaped swags and tieback panels emphasize the window shapes.

Hourglass banded panels are still a favorite treatment for French doors.

Shown here is an angle-top shaped and padded cornice board over full tied-back draperies on an arch-top window.

Above is a media room, done in a traditional stage design with a motorized drapery rod covered by the cornice. Notice the bouillon fringe on the bottom edge of the drapery.
