Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven Woods Control Options Standard Roman Shade with Valance is the traditional woven wood. Material attaches to the back of the headrail and raises in soft folds. When lowered completely, the material hangs flat or in hobbled style. Standard 6˝" valance attaches to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware.
The lift cord is located behind the valance and in front of the shade material for easy access. The cordlock lifting system is the standard lifting system. The cordlock system features lifetime durability and assures smooth and effortless operation. A lined valance is included and you can choose to have the cordlock placed on the right- or left- hand side.
Hobbled style shown above has gentle folds even when fully lowered to provide additional texture. Hobbled shades feature a color-coordinated lined valance, and can be ordered with the standard cordlock, clutch or motorized system. Important Child Safety Update Hunter Douglas' innovative cording system is now being attached to the back, window-facing side of all Provenance Woven Wood Shades and Designer Screen Roman Shades to reduce access to the rear cords, which can pose a strangulation danger to young children and pets. This system prevents a loop forming when the shade is lifted by hand from the bottom that would be large enough for young children to become entangled in. Hunter Douglas Provenance woven wood shades are also available as 2 or 3 shades on a single headrail.
Classic Style Roman Shade is another variation of the Standard Roman Shade, with the shade material attached to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware without use of a valance.
The lift cord passes through a grommet in the shade material for easy access for inside mounts. As there is no shade fabric attached to the back of the headrail, hardware will be visible from outside the window.
