Hunter Douglas' innovative cording system is now being attached to the back, window-facing side of all Provenance Woven Wood Shades and Designer Screen Roman Shades to reduce access to the rear cords, which can pose a strangulation danger to young children and pets. This system prevents a loop forming when the shade is lifted by hand from the bottom that would be large enough for young children to become entangled in.
