The Hunter Douglas Gallery® program is the
ultimate alliance among selected independent storefront window
fashions retailers, Hunter Douglas and Hunter Douglas fabricators. The goal is to
provide consumers with the retail experience they deserve -- a thoroughly satisfying
shopping experience -- from the time they first inquire about Hunter Douglas products
until the time their window fashions are delivered and installed.
In this ongoing alliance that focuses on the
customer, Hunter Douglas is raising the industry standard for window fashions retailing --
building and supporting a select group of retailers who have what it takes to successfully
manage the customer's experience and, in so doing, be successful in the new millennium.
The Hunter Douglas Gallery program is not for
all dealers. The program is designed for full-service, financially stable,
independently-owned retail stores -- dealers who provide their customers with a thoroughly
satisfying shopping experience and are dedicated to promoting the Hunter Douglas brand.
Hunter Douglas fabricators nominate their retailers who go through a rigorous screening
process before they are accepted as Hunter Douglas Gallery dealers.

In July 2003 The Blind Alley joined more than 375 other dealers nationwide participating
in the exclusive Hunter Douglas Gallery program, which is limited to dealers selected by
Hunter Douglas for their knowledge and expertise regarding Hunter Douglas products and
services.

Kurt and Claudia Evers, owners of The Blind Alley recently
attended the Hunter Douglas Window Fashions Gallery National
Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
The two-day conference, titled Visions Of The Future,
provided Kurt and Claudia with new business tools to address future trends in retailing,
marketing, technology and supply chain management, with the ultimate goal of providing the
ultimate shopping experience to The Blind Alley's customers.
Powerful training sessions, led by Hunter Douglas
management and renowned outside presenters, provided ideas, direction and inspiration to
help equip The Blind Alley with the tools necessary to build a stronger business and more
satisfied customers.
This educational support is an example of how the Hunter
Douglas Window Fashions Gallery has elevated the standard for the window covering shopping
experience. Content from the conference will help The Blind Alley staff provide
exceptional window covering installation, superior product instruction and the finest
customer service.
As a beautiful and easy-to-use display environment, the
Gallery showcases the entire Hunter Douglas line of fashion-forward, innovative products
such as Luminette Privacy Sheers, Silhouette
window shadings and Heritance Hardwood Shutters in an
appealing, colorful format. Customers can view and operate the range of products available
for easier selection of treatments that will best complement their homes.
