You've Come to the Right Place!

On May 7, 2010 The Blind Alley of Bellevue, Washington was certified as a Hunter Douglas Authorized Service Center following intensive training in the repair of various Hunter Douglas window fashion products.

Hunter Douglas is establishing such Authorized Service Centers around the country to facilitate product repairs for dealers and consumers at a local level, rather than shipping the product to one of several Hunter Douglas plants nationwide.

The Process

If your genuine Hunter Douglas window fashion product is not functioning correctly you need to contact the dealer who sold the product to you. The dealer will then make the necessary repairs for you or contact Hunter Douglas Customer Service to receive a Return Authorization for the non-functioning product. At the dealer's discretion, they may ship the product to Hunter Douglas or bring it to a local Authorized Service Center for repair.

If the dealer who sold the product to you is no longer in business, then contact your local Hunter Douglas Authorized Service Center for advice and assistance to facilitate the needed repairs.

Special Consideration
Costco

If you purchased your Hunter Douglas window fashion product from Costco, be aware that Costco requires that all warranty service be handled through the vendor that provided and installed the product. You will need to return your Hunter Douglas window fashion product to Costco for warranty service. This is a Costco policy and Hunter Douglas Authorized Service Centers cannot handle warranty service for Hunter Douglas window fashion products purchased through Costco.

Special Consideration
Budget Blinds

If you purchased your Hunter Douglas window fashion product from Budget Blinds, be aware that Budget Blinds purchases Hunter Douglas products from an independent fabricator, not directly from Hunter Douglas. Consequently, you will need to return your Hunter Douglas window fashion product to Budget Blinds for warranty service by the independent fabricator. Hunter Douglas Authorized Service Centers cannot handle warranty service for Hunter Douglas window fashion products purchased from Budget Blinds that were manufactured by the independent fabricator.

Special Consideration
Transfer of Ownership

Hunter Douglas window fashion products are warranted to the original purchaser only. The warranty is not transferrable to subsequent owners of the home in which the products are installed.

The Hunter Douglas Limited Lifetime Warranty

Your entire Hunter Douglas window fashion product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship or failure in the function of the product, for as long as you own the product.

Of course, this warranty does not cover any conditions caused by normal wear and tear or abuse to the product, such as alterations, accidents, misuse, exposure to the elements, discoloration over time, or failure to follow instructions with respect to measurement, proper installation, cleaning or maintenance. Regular use of your product constitutes normal wear and tear; however, Hunter Douglas is proud to provide extended wear and tear cord coverage, which covers your operational cords for a full 7 years from the date of purchase.

Under this warranty, Hunter Douglas Authorized Service Centers will repair or replace the window fashion product or components found to be defective.

The cost of removal and reinstallation is excluded.

Repairs and replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products.
