Traditional Roman style is the traditional woven wood. Material attaches to the back of the headrail and raises in soft folds. When lowered completely, the material hangs flat. Standard 6" valance attaches to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware. The lift cord is located behind the valance and in front of the shade material for easy access. Standard control position is on the right side, optional for the left side.

Traditional Hobbled Roman style is a variation of the Traditional Roman Shade. Material attaches to the back of the headrail with permanent 8½" folds in the shade material when the shade is lowered. Standard 6" valance attaches to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware. The lift cord is located behind the valance and in front of the shade material for easy access. Standard control position is on the right side, optional for the left side.

Old Style Roman Shade is another variation of the Traditional Roman Shade, with the shade material attached to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware without use of a valance. The lift cord is located behind the shade material and may be difficult to access for inside mounts. However, at no extra cost, lift cord can be passed to front of shade material through a grommet with a 6" valance to cover the grommet.

Returns for outside mount shades are also available at no extra charge.

Classic Roman is Fashion Tech's newest variation of the Traditional Roman Shade. The Classic Roman has a 1½" high sculptured wood integrated headrail. The shade material attaches from the back of headrail. Shade hardware is concealed with the lift cord located in front of shade material for easy access.

Traditional Roll-Up is the most casual of Fashion Tech's Woven Wood styles. You may choose to have the shade roll up from the bottom rather than fold up. Please note: You will see the backside of the material as the shade rolls up and some materials are a different wood color on back. Traditional Roll-Up option is not available with Fabric Liner or Accent Edge Trim.

Panel Track: The Panel Track system consists of narrow panels that stack to one side (or both) and then close for privacy. The panels run on an aluminum track with bottom hem weight bars. The fabric in the panels can be roller shade material, grasscloth or woven wood material.

Scallops can be finished on the valance and/or the bottom of Roman shades. Classic Roman Shades can be finished only on the bottom of the shade as the valance is wood, not matching material.

All scallop designs are proportioned to the shade width. If you are ordering shades of different widths in the same room, specify this so that they will be proportioned alike.

If you order cutout scallops on the skirt of a Woven Wood Shade mounted inside the window frame, be aware that the shade will not provide privacy at the bottom of the window when closed due to the cutouts in the shade's skirt. We recommend use of the Elevated Scallop for inside mount.

If you are mounting the shade outside the window frame, add at least 4" below the window opening (for privacy) if you will be using a Scallop design. Otherwise, we recommend using the Elevated Scallop instead.

Group A Scallops: Designs are applied the the front of the valance or skirt only.

Group B Scallops: Designs are cut out of the material to a depth of approximately 3".  Decorative trim is applied on the front and the back of the scallop.

Group B Elevated Scallops: Designs are the same as the Basic Scallops, but the shade material is not cut out and the trim is applied to the front of the shade only.

You can order just a valance in Fashion Tech Woven Wood and Grass Weave Shades for use as a separate top treatment.

A great option for sliding glass doors or those large bedroom windows with side vents that you leave open for fresh air. Cover the entire window or sliding glass door with a shade in two portions and with separate lift controls.

There will be a gap of approximately 1/2" between the shade sections.

On a 2 on 1 the lift cords are on the outside ends of the headrail and the left cord lifts the left shade and the right cord lifts the right shade.

On a 3 on 1 the lift cords are on the outside ends of the headrail and the left cord lifts the left shade and the right cord lifts the right shade. The center shade lift cord is located on either the right or left side of the center shade.

Raise your shade normally from the bottom up and/or lower it from the top down for room lighting while maintaining privacy.

Cord controls will be on both the right and left-hand sides of the shade with this option.

The liner is also helpful in protecting your investment in Fashion Tech Woven Wood Shades from sun exposure.

The Privacy liner is available in White, Ivory and Khaki Translucent fabric for privacy and sun protection. It is 100% Rayon with a water repellant finish.

The Room Darkening liner is also available in White and Ivory fabric for total blackout privacy and complete sun protection. It is 50% Cotton and 50% Polyester with an Acrylic foam backing.

Not available with the bamboo woods.

Not available on Traditional Roll-Up shades.
