Ascent Infrared (IR) Motorization System

Infrared (IR) Remote Control

2 channels are available to operate shades.

Channel 1 is standard and normally the only channel needed.

However, when the minimum 48" separation between infrared eyes is not possible, selected shades can be set for channel 2 operation.

2 channel operation is recommended with stacked shades, banks of shades, and shades in bay windows.

Switch at top of remote control is used to change from one channel to the other.

Remote control utilizes 2-AAA batteries.

Infrared (IR) Satellite Eye

Optional satellite eye is an external infrared eye to be used when a window treatment obstructs the headrail.

Available with 3 cable lengths: 20" cable – 48" cable – 96" cable

Infrared (IR) Satellite Battery Pack

Optional satellite battery pack will make changing batteries easier on tall or out-of-reach windows.

Available with 3 cable lengths: 15" cable – 48" cable – 96" cable

Plug-In Transformer (12v)

Optional feature eliminates the need for batteries.

The transformer plugs into a standard wall outlet and connects to the motor using a 25 ft cord.

Factory cannot adjust cord length. Cord length can be adjusted at installation - minimum length 3 feet.

Battery Wands not necessary with plug-in transformer.
